For directions on how teachers and students can use STEM Wizard, you can view slides here.
March 1st is judging week.
4th and 5th graders will receive feedback and participation certificates. These grades will not have category places or special award winners.
Feedback and category places and special awards will be awarded for 6-12 grade students. Results and feedback will be provided by the following week.
6-12th grade students who qualify for the Delaware Valley Science Fair will participate in April 2021. DVSF will also proceed virtually.
Safety During COVID/Virtual Learning
Students should begin working on their research plans, but before experimentation begins, sponsors must ensure students will be working in a safe and ethical manner.
With so many students learning from home without access to a supervised laboratory, safety in experimentation is an especially urgent concern. COVID itself brings additional risks for any student who is working with human participants.
*Experimentation involving human participants, vertebrate animals, and hazardous biological materials must not begin until the research plan is approved by a Scientific Review Committee. If your students' research plan is ready for review by the SRC, please email carverfair@gmail.com
*No experimentation of any kind should begin until the sponsor reviews the research plan and signs the Risk Assessment Form.
Finally, please please review the ISEF rulebook carefully and reach out to us if there are any questions.
